Cecilia Piazzi was born in Trento on the 6 of december 1979. She attended succesfully the International School of Violinmakers in Cremona, graduating in 2000 under the guide of Master Giorgio Scolari.After that she improved her theory and practice in the violinmaker Stefano Trabucchi's workshop, working there for more than four years. Since the 2004 Cecilia Piazzi is working in her own workshop located in town centre near the Duomo where she is making violins, violas and cellos. She is ispired by Cremona classical art of making violin using prevalently Stradivarian model. For the making of her instruments uses precious material like Balkan maple and Fiemme valley's resonance fir. In all of her instruments there is author's fire stamp and every instrument is accompanied by authenticity certificate.
